Sign up for texts
Both boxes start unchecked. Checking a box is optional, and you choose which texts you want. Signing up is never required to get your car repaired.
Other ways to sign up
There are three ways to sign up: the web form above, in person or by phone, and by text. Each one works the same way: nothing is sent until you say yes, and you choose vehicle updates and shop specials separately.
In person at the shop or by phone
When you drop off your car at 5334 Mile Stretch Dr or call us at 727-942-2733, our service writer asks:
“Can we text you updates about your vehicle at this number? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime or HELP for help. Texts are optional and never required for your repair.”
Shop specials are asked about separately: “Would you also like occasional shop specials by text, up to 4 per month?”
If you say yes, before any text is sent the service writer records your consent on your customer record in our shop system: the date and time, how you agreed (at the counter or by phone), the staff member’s name, the mobile number, and which texts you agreed to (vehicle updates, and specials only if you said yes to them too). If you say no, nothing is recorded as a yes and we don’t text you. Saying no never affects your repair. Our privacy policy and terms apply: see our Privacy Policy and Terms.
By text message
Text JOIN to 727-472-4134 to sign up for vehicle updates. You’ll get the confirmation text shown below. Shop specials are sent only if you also check the optional specials box above or tell our staff you want them. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

- “Your vehicle is ready” pickup notices
- Invoices and payment links
- Replies to questions you text us
- Shop specials — only if you checked the separate specials box or told our staff you want them (up to 4 per month)
Example: “Five Star Auto Repair: Good news, your 2016 Honda Accord is ready for pickup. We’re open until 6:00 PM today. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Stop or get help
